WebLINK - Web-Based Office System Interface

The WebWebLINKLink application provides a means of secure communications between remote clients and the UMass Memorial network, for sending and receiving patient information over the World Wide Web.

WebLINK was developed to interface with a client applications that have the ability to create and process HL7 transactions using ASCII-encoded data files. By installing the WebLINK application on the client workstation or server, the practice management system (or electronic medical records system) can send HL7 orders to and receive HL7 results from the laboratory by simply reading and writing files to the system's local disk drive.
