Laboratory Services

UMass Memorial Laboratories includes the laboratory support services as well as the individual laboratory sections that specialize in the various disciplines of laboratory medicine.

Serving a diverse population of patients, clinical providers, referring laboratories, hospitals and other health care agencies, the UMass Memorial Laboratories houses an unusually broad field of services under one roof. Performing more than 8 million tests annually, the laboratories perform approximately 95 percent of our services on-site, providing more rapid turnaround times and faster service, while maintaining strong relationships with national references laboratories as an additional resource.
