Our lab faculty (lab directors) have authored key publication in laboratory medicine:
In addition to publishing many academic papers, members of our lab faculty have authored a textbook entitled Guide to Diagnostic Testing, which is used in medical schools and residency programs to teach the appropriate use of laboratory testing to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, and to define laboratory testing algorithms to assist in that process.
Members of our lab faculty department (lab directors) have also been selected by the publishers of Interpretation of Diagnostic Tests, one of the definitive reference textbooks on laboratory testing, to become the editors of that textbook, to update that book for the Ninth Edition, and to then more completely re-write the book for its Tenth Edition.
