	Notes	Keep in warm water until processed for transport by Lab. Refrigeration of specimen before separation of serum from cells will adversely affect test results. Unacceptable: Refrigerated whole blood, plasma, hemolyzed specimens. If a centrifuge is available - allow blood to clot at 37°C. Centrifuge at room temperature and separate immediately. Send to lab at room temperature. If unable to separate serum from cells - keep sample at 37°C and call for STAT courier pick up. DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE.
