	Unacceptable	EDTA plasma. Grossly hemolyzed or lipemic specimens.
	Transport	Frozen
	Minimum Volume	1 mL Serum
	Remarks	Also acceptable: Green (sodium or lithium heparin). Separate serum or plasma from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum or plasma to a Transport Tube.
	Notes	Stability (collection to initiation of testing): After separation from cells: Ambient: 8 hours; Refrigerated: 48 hours; Frozen: 6 months.
