	Remarks	Chill a lavender top tube prior to collection. Fill the tube, then pour 5 mL blood into a chilled container of EDTA, plus 0.2 cc of aprotinin. (0.04 cc aprotinin per mL of whole blood.) Call Customer Service prior to collection - Requires special collection protocol.
	Notes	CRITICAL FROZEN. Immediately centrifuge in a refrigerated centrifuge, separate plasma from cells and freeze ASAP. To prevent analyte degradation, aprotinin inhibitor is the required stabilizer. Call lab to acquire. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
