	Transport	Frozen, on dry ice
	Minimum Volume	1.0 mL Plasma
	Remarks	Draw blood in a green top (Heparin) tube from a fasting patient (4 hrs or more in infants). Spin down promptly and send 1.0 mL heparinized plasma frozen in plastic vial on dry ice. Include patients age, sex, family history, clinical condition, diet and drug therapy information.
