	Unacceptable	Room temperature specimens. Grossly hemolyzed or lipemic specimens.
	Transport	Refrigerated
	Minimum Volume	2 mL Serum
	Remarks	Centrifuge and remove serum or plasma from cells within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 2 mL serum or plasma to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube and refrigerate or freeze immediately. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
	Notes	Stability (collection to initiation of testing): After separation from cells: Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 4 days; Frozen: 1 month
