| Remarks | Special - Contact Laboratory for trasylol collection tube. The trasylol tube contains 0.12 cc aprotinin). Chill a lavender top tube prior to collection. Fill the lavender top tube, mix well, and immediately transfer 3 mL of EDTA whole blood into a chilled trasylol tube. Mix well, centrifuge and separate plasma from cells ASAP. Transfer 1 mL plasma (EDTA plus aprotinin) into a standard transport tube and freeze. | |
